Trading

Right now, I'm feeling a little under the weather, because of this nasty cold I've caught. Never minding that, here is a new post! I recently traded away some of my old toys I didn't want any more and in return I received this lovely bunch! New additions to my collections and a few miscellaneous stuff. 21 in total and why are over half of them Pokémon? Well, I can't even remember the last time I've bought anything Pokémon that wasn't a game. So, I have started to develop this crazy idea if you can't catch them all in the games, maybe you can at least own them all as figures? Of course, I'm just playing with that thought, but if that idea was carried through one would end up with 700+ figures lying around. Luckily, the pocket monster figures tend to be small, so maybe it wouldn't be too bad? :D So yeah, it was just a thought, so that's why I went a little Pokémon heavy. Moving on...

Chatot
This Chatot's head is so heavy it cannot stand on its own feet. In the previous picture you can notice that I managed to put Kyogre balancing on Chatot's tail, which was just enough to keep the bird falling flat on its face.

Kyogre, Weavile, Lotad, Wobbuffet
There seems to be a piece missing on Kyogre's back and I have to question who's bright idea was it to put the copyright markings front and center on Lotad's lily pad?

Mime Jr., Piloswine, Mewtwo, Treecko, Munchlax

Jirachi, Roselia, Piplup
These damned things can't stand on their own.

Moomintroll, Hattifatteners, Snorkmaiden
Snorkmaiden is from 2000 and Moomin from 1992. The Hattifatteners don't have a year on them, but I'm guessing they are pretty new.

 Super Battle Droid, Donald Duck
I once walked passed an opportunity  to buy a similar Super Battle droid toy and regretted it later, but now I got it! Donald Duck? I simply had to get one to be a mascot for our new (used) car that happens to be red in color and has the license plate number 313, and sure enough the car started falling apart only a few days after it was purchased!

More dogs
New dog figures to be 'Ginga' customized. The Collie will probably end up as yet another Wilson and the other I haven't decided yet.

????
I have no freaking idea what this is. Well, duh! It's a puppy! But what I really want to know what series does it belong to and are there more puppies like this in different breeds?

*Update 20.05.15
Apparently this puppy is a part of an Alaskan Malamute family from Puppy in My Pocket - Enchanted valley series by MEG or something like that.

Mew, Clefairy, Mantine
This ones I didn't get in trade, that's why they don't appear in the picture at the top. I bought them at a flea market, and boy, wasn't a bargain! 0,20€ for the lot! The sole reason why I bought them was the Clefairy because I already own a Mew and Mantine like that from before. I have a vague memory of a Clefairy figure in my possession, but I'm not 100% sure. Besides, twenty cents for three figures that are in fairly good condition too, is nothing.

Pokemon Fanart since 2000

I looked for them everywhere and many paper piles later..... I think I finally found all Pokémon drawing that I've ever done.  So, in a similar fashion as my DQ8 Fanart post, I present the evolution of my Pokémon drawings! As usual, there are very few drawings with dates on them, so with great probability there are gaps of a few years between some drawings.

The above drawings, the surfing Pikachu, Vulpix and Gengar are not my drawings. A childhood friend back from when we were in elementary school, drew them for me. Unfortunately, I later butchered them with my not well developed coloring skills.

Let's get started. The following drawing could be from anywhere between 2000 - 2009 so I've lined them up by my estimation from oldest to newest.

This Eevee drawing here is the only one I can confirm a year on (2001) as it is written on the back that I was 10 years old when I drew it.

2005 maybe? I think I traced this from a poster that I had. Torchic seems to have been a struggle both times for some reason.

Team portrait sketches for my teams in Pokémon Red and Crystal version. Team Red got at least started before being forsaken as you can see in the previous picture. Can you guess who belonged to my Crystal team based on my rough sketch?

I know this one is from 2009. I took me a long time to realize that Rayquaza wasn't exclusive to Emerald, that I could actually capture one in Sapphire! Kyogre sure didn't want me to capture it, as it kept KO'ing it with its Ice Beam even if my team was much lower leveled than Rayquaza.

2010 - 2015 in no particular order

The King of the Electric Jungle
This image was of course directly inspired by Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor (also known as Jungle Taitei / Leo the Lion / Jungle Emperor Leo / Kimba the White Lion)

And my most recent Pokémon drawings can be found in this post. That's all!

.....I never realized how many times I've drawn Diglett until now.

Just can't get enough

My SW purchases from last month, 18 pieces in total, bought in two sets. Got many new characters added to my collection. ♥♥♥

R2-D2, C-3PO x 2, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper stamps

Darth Maul and Jar Jar Binks candy containers. I'm sad to say that in this case, the Jar Jar one is actually better quality than the Maul one. I couldn't even bring myself to photograph it head on, because the cross-eyedness(?) is just so bad! An Anakin version probably exsist as well based on the picture on the side.

Republic Trooper, Darth Malgus, Darth Sidious and Darth Plagueis

Daultay Dofine, Han Solo and Darth Vader

General Grievous ♥ and Savage Opress ♥

Darth Vader's TIE Advanced starfighter comes complete with a mini Vader in the cockpit which was a surprise for me!

Darth Maul with speeder bank ♥

New Moomin mugs

Here are some Moomin characters I'd like to see get their own mugs one day, although it's very unlikely. Muskrat is awesome! He seriously deserves to have his own mug right now! Other minor character such as Sniff's parent got their own mugs, so why couldn't Snufkin's dad Joxter have one too? Lady of the Cold can be a little tricky, because she never appeared in an illustrated form in the book her story took place, she only appeared in the animated series. Frankly, I would be just as happy to get a mug of that awesome snow horse! The Moomintroll mug is just for the laughs.

Piisamirotta / Bisamråttan / Muskrat

Juksu / Joxaren / Joxter

Jäärouva / Isfrun / Lady of the Cold

Muumipeikko hangessa / Mumintrollet i snödrivan / Moomintroll in the snowbank

Happy April Fools' Day!
