I found this comic by accident while I was at the library searching for some other stuff. Somehow, I always find myself pulled towards the comic books section even though I'm not looking for any comic's specifically. This book caught my attention by its name alone. I quickly flipped through it and read a few pages. It got me interested, so I borrowed it. The book is only about 62 pages long, so it wouldn't take me too much time to read it.
This is the second book in the series and I haven't read the first one, so I'm going in blindly. I can't find one continuous story in here. The comic strips are more about small, everyday situations people with anxiety go through. I find the comics to be funny, despite the somewhat depressing undertone. I find the main character to be, relatable above all else, because how he reacts to certain situations the exact same way I would do in real life.
I think the characters would have worked just as well if they were humans instead of animals. But then again, I suppose, it's less depressing watching a cartoon rabbit being a total wreck of a person than a fully human character. The drawing style is charming and it works, I can't find anything to nitpick about it. Not really my cup of tea, but it get's it's message across.
I don't know if an average fellow would find this comic to be funny, but to all persons who ever suffered from anxiety in some manner, could find something here to chuckle about.
