Flea market findings 5
Phew, it's been a while! Enjoying the summer are we? Well, I'm trying at least, unfortunately I had to break my tradition of going to Animecon this year, because I had too much other things going on..... maybe next year then! I'm also feeling a little bit "left out" because of Pokémon Go! I can't jump on that bandwagon because I don't own a phone capable of running it. Dammit! It sure looks fun though! I'll just have to settle with playing Pokémon Shuffle on my tablet then. Or go searching for new toys to buy instead of saving the money for a new phone!!! :D
Transforming Digimon! While in Taomon form, you can see the toy is missing a piece, but if I keep it in Kyubimon form it's hardly noticeable, which is good! I find Kyubimon to be more pleasing to the eye anyway.
Kurhn doll and some random dolly keyring I thought were too cute and very cheap to let pass by. I think I only paid 0,70€ for both of them in total.
The Groke and Tony Tony Chopper plush with their big grins. Chopper was only 0,50€!!
Alien versus Predator old PC game and Neca's very chibi Predator climber.
Schleich's Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus and Safari Ltd. tiny T. Rex. Also, a Wolf and fox with their respective offsprings by.... I have no clue. They do have a copyright marking on their bellies, too bad they didn't bother to put their company name there next to it!
I can't get over with how awesome this Chap Mei Dilophosaurus looks!! *_* ....until I take a look at it dislocated lower jaw. It was so close to perfection!
Ever so pretty skull keyrings and DragonBall GT phone charms and Mario's magic mushroom.
Chap Mei Ninja warrior, beaten up Piccolo and a lonely Clone Trooper.
Slowpoke, silver Giratina and big Pikachu bottle.
Lion King stuff (I have no idea what that Scar thing is supposed to be) and a random pack of Sonic, Garfield, the Aristocat's Toulouse Smarties topper, some adorable Mother Goose.
1998s Godzilla or just Zilla nowadays, Zorro's steed Tornado, and a cute lil' Grim Reaper.
I found these last four at a yard sale. MLP G1 Fifi & baby pony Shaggy, a very charming Pentik Murr Murr Fox ceramic wall tile and lastly, a very derped out Batman just for the shits and giggles.

Flea market findings 4
It's risky to buy used puzzles, because there's usually always that one piece missing, but I got lucky three times! I found a super cute 60 pieced My Little Pony puzzle (1989, Holland) in excellent condition and two Moomin puzzles! The smaller one has 20 wooden pieces (1992) and the other has 140 (made in West Germany). I find those animated dolls very creepy.
My google search is telling me this thing is called Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus Groom and Glam Styling Head Brietta. It's really big and I like the details on it, like the wings and the necklace. I'm thinking it would be really fun to customize this thing!
G1 My Little Ponies Blossom -82 (Italy), Tickle -84 and a McDonald's pony from 1999. As far as my research can tell me the purple saddle and the white hat originally belong to something called Pretty Parlor playset.
Monster High Create-a-Monster Ice girl with Blob girl's wig & dress and also the mermaid tail from Siren Add-on pack. I forgot to add the Blob girl's dress in the first picture so I put it there on the side when I tried the fin on the Ice girl now with another CAM wig on, just to see how it looks.
Nyx? She-Spawn? I'm not really sure what the first character is supposed to be called, all I know is, she has skulls for breasts and that's good enough for me! The tiny dinosaur reminds me so much of Masashi Tanaka's Gon, but I doubt it's really him, it has no markings besides "made in china". I'll probably donate Luigi to a friend because I don't really care for Mario Bros. I was so happy to find classic Ash Ketchum in this good condition and a very good price!
Schleich Spinosaurus 2007, the paint is a little worn out on the tip of the tail and the upper jaw. I've always admired the Schleich dinosaurs, but never actually bought one before now. The T.Rex (Early Learning Centre, Watford, England) is nice and big, I was mainly thinking about repainting this one as well.
Schleich's Bayala/Arelan bear riding Torak figure. I can't remember anymore which one I found first, the bear without the rider or with the rider? The funny thing is, I found these in two separate stores that were right next to each other. Don't care much for the rider, but the bears look awesome!
Bought a small bag filled with small toy animals and these foxes stood out from the rest. The small one is your regular china animal, but I've never seen a fox before just the standard farm animals, so that's what makes it special for me. The two big ones are made by Procon (2006).
Action Man Urban Mission's Robot dog (2000). I was really disappointed that there wasn't much more information about this thing. It's big and cool looking! Being a robot makes it very unique from all other toy dogs. Henceforth you shall be named Terminator dog (because of the red eye)!
Kiara plush from the Lion King and a brand new Gomamon plush with its tag still intact albeit a little faded! Oh, and a chibiesque Taichi!
Maggie!! Finally! Now I'm only missing Lisa! I'm so happy! :D Also got a Pumba and Simba for my small PEZ dispenser collection.
Finally, we have the one who everybody love to hate: Jar Jar Binks!

Mushroom minions?
Finnish edition of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland illustrated by Tove Jansson. I have a faint memory that I may have seen parts of the Disney movie a long time ago, and already as a kid did it feel too trippy to the point that I was getting nauseous. I've stayed clear from anything Alice related since then.... until now. I'm halfway through the book and thus far, the Cheshire cat is the only thing I like about this book, besides the illustrations of course. Yeah, I don't care for the story really, I just wanted it for Tove's illustrations! <3
My first initial reaction to this was that this has to be a bootleg, but no, it still has a tag on its butt that reads Doraemon with copyright markings and a 7 - Eleven logo. After a little bit of google searching, I found this image with what looks to be a similar plush along with other characters from the series. Picture from: http://www.flickriver.com/photos/arjin/3871393216/
I wish this one could talk. I wanna know what it has been sitting on top of, because clearly it has been broken off something..... Something you can wear around your neck. First thing that comes to my mind would be one of those plastic, waterproof coin holders (or whatever these things are called) for some reason. Anyway, Gomamon was in a pretty rough shape at first glance, but after I removed the excess stuff and gave it a wash, it doesn't look too bad at all. ^_^
On Toad's butt it says Made for McDonald's 2013. I wonder why I bought these? 8D I don't even like Mario games that much....
Total cost of all items: 3,00 €

Akita Cost 1,50€
On the dog's belly it reads Akita F and Made in China. Naturally, I thought the "F" stands for "female" but the dog has male parts, so it's a she-male? I was unable to find any information about this figure so I'll never know what the F stands for. Well, since this one supposedly is an Akita, it would only be fitting that I'd paint it for my Ginga customs to be one of the main dogs, but will it be Riki, Gin, Weed or Yukimura? Who will it be!?
American bulldog Cost 0,10€
On this dog's belly it reads American Bulldog and this site tells me that it belongs to New-ray: My Best Friend -series. No clear plans for customizing this one yet. :P
Sonic key chain Cost 0,10€
On the bottom it has the Sega logo and Made in Japan engraved in it. I like Sonic, but I have no desire to collect anything Sonic related except a few games that I already have, so I'll probably give this to a friend who is much more Sonic crazed than I am and hope he enjoys it much more than I would.
Patamon plushie Cost 1,00€
I swear I'm not going to start collecting any more Digimon stuff! But it was so cute and cheap, how could I have said no?
Piplup and Minun Cost 0,05€ each
I was so sure these were going to turn up as bootlegs, but after I removed the price tags, the copyright marking were revealed. Piplup © 2008, Minun © 2005 Pokémon Nintendo
Pokémon drinking cup Cost 0,50€
From 1999. This one is in such a good condition that I dare to proclaim it has never been used and it's going to stay that way.
Cartman mug Cost FREE
At the entrance/exit to the flea market there were a few shelves that were labeled with "free stuff" signs and that's where I found this ....loveliness. The condition is quite bad which explains why it was put it in the free stuff pile, the other reason I imagine is the fact that anybody other than a South Park fan might find this mug a bit ....tasteless? The images are from "Weight Gain 4000" which is the second episode of Season One. TM & © 2000 Comedy central. Beefcake!!
Churchill's Four Seasons Tin (with Biscuits 250 g) Cost 4,50€
Four Seasons: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer
top and bottom
I actually thought it was a coffee can when I bought it, didn't notice until I was home it said biscuits on the bottom. Anyway, it was empty, so no biscuits for me. The main reason I bought it was of course the beautifully embossed art of Alphonse Mucha’s Four Seasons on each side of the tin. The Czech Art Nouveau artist is one of my favorites of all time. If it were any easier to find any more items with his art on it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Moominsummer Madness Cost 1,00€
The Finnish 18th edition of the fourth (or fifth) book in Tove Jansson's Moomin series filled with awesome illustrations. The price tag says 2€ but they only charged me with 1€ for unknown reason. Almost every page has some degree of damage on them, but nothing too critical as it's still perfectly readable.
The Autobiography of Henry VIII Cost 1,00€
Written by Margaret George and first published in 1986. This Swedish edition is from 1991. Yes, I have an interest for the Tudor dynasty too. I can't say anything about the book yet, I have to find some time to read it first. The books just keep piling up...

Digimon Collection
Digimon!? Where did that come from? Yeah, I haven't even mentioned Digimon until now, and after this I'll probably never mention it again. As a cursed materialist that I am, I have wanted to do a "collection" post like this one for a while, but frankly I didn't know where to begin. It was too much of a daunting task to start off with one of my biggest collections, so I thought it would be easier to start with something smaller. I'm not sure if I should even call this one a "collection", because I haven't bought any of these for the sake of collecting. These are just stuff that has stuck around because I've a hard time to throw/give/sell anything away. *coughhoardercough*
Anyway, back in the days Digimon was a little bit "controversial" around our playgrounds, you had to either like it more than Pokémon or absolutely hate it. Whenever I was asked which one I liked better, I'd say Pokémon of course. Which was true, but that didn't mean I hated Digimon. Okay, for a brief time I did hate Digimon, but that was before I watched any of the episodes (then I secretly liked it a little). Looking back at it now, I'd probably say that the Digimon anime is better that the Pokémon anime.
So if I wasn't that much into Digimon, how did this stuff come into my possession? Mostly because my parent couldn't tell the damn difference between Pokémon and Digimon >_> but that was probably the case with most parents. So here is my very modest collection of Digimon merchandise.
The first Digimon opening Butterfly done with Pokémon? Awesome!
Finally, there's nothing quite like taking a nostalgic trip by listening to the Finnish dub of the Digimon Adventures opening. We have The Bad dub and The Good dub. Both which are pure gold in their own special way. XD

16 Trading cards
The only foil ones are Gabumon, Devimon and MegaKabuterimon.
Lillymon figure
I believe there was some sort of a stand or platform that you were supposed to put the figure on (as it is right now the figure can't stand on its own at all) and I have a vague memory of a profile card or something like that, but I'm afraid those have been lost through time.
Double sided Poster
I think it came in the same box as Lillymon. It's all folded up and not much larger than a regular comic book.
Comics (Digimon Tamers)
I got interested in Tamers because of Renamon, who I thought was an insanely cool looking Digimon because it resembles Mewtwo (or Lucario....) and it's (Digi)evolved form is a beautiful nine tails. To my disappointment the comic got boring very quickly and with that, my interest with Digimon died.
Gatomon & Gabumon
I suspect these two came in a random toy bag that came from a flea market. Poor Gatomon is missing its tail. I guess Gabumon would talk if you moved it's arms around or something because it has a build in speaker on its back. I never bothered to check what kind of batteries it requires, so I don't know what it is supposed to say.
Gatomon bean bag plushie
This one is an exception because I intentionally bought it, despite that it was a Digimon. It is too damn cute :3 Gatomon or Tailmon as I better know it, was my favorite Digimon from the series. Wonder why the gloves are yellow on toys, but in the show they are green?
*Update 07.03.15
Apparently I have a few stickers as well!
*Update 20.05.15
Found a Patamon plushie at a flea market!
*Update 15.09.15
Found a tiny Gomamon at a flea market!
*Update 02.12.15
Found both Gomamon and Agumon plushie at a flea market, and apparently I have a few more stickers as well!
There you have it, but I'm not done yet! One other thing you had to love about Digimon was the opening and ending theme songs!
XD
